Ashbourne Hotel, Lincolnshire, Wedding Photography – Danielle and Chris

I always love popping over the bridge for a wedding in Lincolnshire. Working with Danielle and Christopher was lovely and their young son Riley was fun and really well-behaved. They got married at St Andrew’s in Wootton and had their reception at the Ashbourne Hotel in North Killingholme. I was with Danielle and Christopher for a full day, from getting ready through to first dance, and these images are just a selection from the 400 supplied to Mr and Mrs East.

This was my first wedding of 2017 and it was a great one to get back into the swing of things. I hadn’t shot a wedding since Christmas so I was really missing it. I picked up the wedding last minute (like two days before the big day) from a fellow wedding photographer who’d become seriously and suddenly ill. It is very, very rare this happens but it’s so important for every photographer to have a plan in place and network of fellow photographers they can call on in an emergency.
